What a lovely picture of the cat in the window in Sackets Harbor. I can feel the breeze off Lake Ontario and feel the warm sunshine on my face as I stroll down the short Main Street past the War of 1812 monuments and marvel at the age and condition of some of the buildings. Sailboats dot the water and not that I would ever set foot on one I like to watch them as they skip across the water. My parents grew up in and around Sackets Harbor and it was the last place my Dad chose to live before he passed away so it was a very special place to them.
A transplanted Canadian, married to a retired American soldier. Mother of a sixteen year old young man who is one of a kind. Homeschooler. Registered Nurse. Unapologetic treehugging liberal. Photographer. Quilter. Knitter. Perpetually sleep-deprived queen of unfinished crafting projects. Goddess of laundry. Strangely obsessed with haiku. Welcome to my world!
