A different kind of rescue

I was quite moved to learn about the 2nd Chance at Life: Greyhounds and Inmates Corrections Partnership program.

If a society can be judged by the way it treats its prisoners and its animals, then this is a step in the right direction.

The famous sheriff in Maricopa, AZ has a similar program. I think it's wonderful!

However, if you are talking about my university's team, you might as well just shoot them now and put them out of their misery. LOL!!! (sorry, couldn't resist that one, even if you don't get it. See, Eastern New Mexico Univ boys teams are the Grayhounds. Girls are the Zias. Both both pretty much suck. LOL!)
